Emma is a University of Pittsburgh - Johnstown graduate, where she got a BA in both Communication and Multimedia & Digital Culture. Throughout her time at UPJ, she interned at companies local to her area, such as Thomas Automotive and the university itself, and at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Western PA Chapter in Pittsburgh in their marketing departments. She also worked in the service industry for several years.

Emma’s family does a fundraiser every year for the fight against cystic fibrosis called Egg My Yard. Emma helps in every way she can, including attending the meetings and taking notes, running the social media pages and marketing campaigns, creating the visual and short-form video content, and participating in the actual event the night of.

When Emma is not working, she likes to spend her time outside, traveling, and with her friends and family. You will rarely find her without at least one of these people by her side, exploring the world around them and making the most of every day.
