Accounting Assistant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role will provide vital support to our billing specialist and marketing team to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of client budgets and billing across over 500 client accounts. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask, stay focused under pressure, and have an exceptional eye for detail to avoid errors in financial management.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the billing team to manage client budgets and monthly billing processes.

Verify that all client service budgets are accurate and align with agreed-upon terms.

Work closely with the marketing team to ensure monthly updates and adjustments to budgets are reflected in billing.

Perform data entry and reconciliation of client accounts, ensuring all details are accurate.

Monitor account changes and alert the billing and marketing teams of any discrepancies or required updates.

Handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality and professionalism.

Assist in preparing reports related to budgets and billing for management.

Stay organized and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in billing, budgeting, or administrative support roles, preferably in a marketing or client service environment.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with numerical data.

Ability to multitask and prioritize workload across multiple accounts and deadlines.

Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and provide clear updates on account statuses.

Proficient in Google Workspace and Google-related products

High level of integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
